1. Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) An EPC is required as part of a HIP for the sale of a property. For lettings, an EPC will be required for any new tenancy after 1 October 2008. A lettings EPC is valid for 10 years. 2. Floor Plans and Lease Plans Floor Plans help to market your property. Potential buyers or tenants can have an idea of the property before visiting. Drawn to RICS guidelines. To view a floor plan sample click here. 3. Home Information Pack (HIPs) A HIP is required for all sales of a domestic property. Take ownership of your own HIP, and purchase it through us—some Estate Agents will provide your HIP, but will not let you keep your HIP if you decide to move to a new Agent! |

1. Display Energy Certificate (DEC) From 1 October 2008, all buildings occupied by a Public Services Department, or Institution will need to have a DEC, and display this in a prominent place within the building. If you are unsure whether or not you need one, call us, and we can advise you. |
